O grande desafio da Educação Ambiental é de se transmitir conhecimentos e criar motivação para a conservação da Natureza através de ferramentas não-convencionais, que motivem os jovens a conhecer e valorizar o patrimônio natural como parte de suas vidas.
Dentre muitas ferramentas desenvolvidas por nossa equipe ao longo dos anos, a Barraca da Jubarte tem sido um grande sucesso com nosso público em todas as localidades por onde passa! Na Barraca são realizadas aulas, palestras, oficinas, atendimentos e visitações, com grande interesse dos participantes devido ao fato da mesma em si já despertar curiosidade de acordo com a proposta com a qual foi pensada.
Outro aspecto importante é, por se tratar de uma estrutura móvel, oportuniza experiências diferentes de acordo com as expectativas de cada público. A Barraca da Jubarte já esteve visitando a Escola Claudionora Nobre de Melo, o Colégio Polivalente de Caravelas e a Praça de Eventos; da cidade; as localidades de Rancho Alegre, Santo Antônio de Barcelona e Juerana; Alcobaça (sede) e São José de Alcobaça (interior); e durante o mês de outubro estará recebendo o público na tradicional Festa da Baleia em Nova Viçosa.
