Inteligência Artificial Contribui para a Interpretação do Mundo das Baleias em Vitória

O Projeto Baleia Jubarte (PBJ), em parceria com a Escola Municipal de Educação Fundamental Aristóbulo Barbosa Leão, desenvolveu neste segundo semestre em Vitória (ES) o projeto “AIWhaleSpace: Explorando o Mundo das Jubarte com Inteligência Artificial”, no qual estudantes da escola assumiram o protagonismo de unir Tecnologia e Educação Ambiental.
Sob a orientação da professora Geórgia Abreu e com a mediação do educador ambiental do Projeto Baleia Jubarte, Renan Santos, as alunas aprofundaram seus conhecimentos sobre baleias, mudanças climáticas e os impactos das tecnologias, além de desenvolverem habilidades práticas com inteligência artificial. Com o objetivo de criar animações educativas, as alunas utilizaram IA generativa para produzir imagens e vídeos que enriquecerão as visitas guiadas ao Espaço Baleia Jubarte Vitória, tornando-as menos estáticas e mais interativas. Entre as produções, destacam-se vídeos sobre o Projeto, curiosidades sobre as jubartes e a evolução dos cetáceos.
O trabalho foi desenvolvido através do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica Jr (PIBICjr), promovido pela Companhia de Desenvolvimento, Tecnologia e Inovação de Vitória (CDTIV) e pela Prefeitura de Vitória, com financiamento do Facitec (Fundo de Apoio à Ciência e Tecnologia), que visa fomentar a pesquisa e a inovação tecnológica no município. As estudantes bolsistas são Elysa Martins, Julia Pontes, Nicole Catarina, Natan Farias, Lara Morais, Pamella Aurora, Sophia De Jesus e Vitoria Nathalye.
